DxTerity is a privately owned biotechnology company located in Southern California. The company’s focus is to utilize the patented NEAT™ platform to provide a pathway to incorporate genetic testing—even complex gene signatures—into routine medical care.
A proven management team
DxTerity Diagnostics’ management team is led by Dr. Bob Terbrueggen and comprised of an experienced financial and scientific team who has managed large development and product divisions for Fortune 100 companies. This team has successfully developed and brought several new technologies to market and, ultimately, facilitated liquidity events for shareholders.

Bob Terbrueggen, PhD
Bob Terbrueggen, PhD, is the founder and CEO of DxTerity Diagnostics. Prior to founding DxTerity, Bob was the Director of Research for Motorola Life Sciences, and he has also led the technology and product development activities at two start-up genomics companies, Clinical Micro Sensors (CMS) and NanoBiomics. |
CMS pioneered the development of electronic DNA detection systems, and this technology is currently being used for pharmacogenomic testing applications. CMS was acquired by Motorola in June of 2000. NanoBiomics focused on the development of a low-cost genomic testing platform for point-of-care applications. NanoBiomics received the 2005 Best Biotechnology Startup of the Year award from the Arizona Biotech Association, and it was acquired by The Molecular Profiling Institute in June of 2005.
Bob received a dual degree in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan, and a PhD in Bioinorganic Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology. He is a co-inventor on 18 issued United States patents and 15 pending US patent applications.

Jim Healy, MS
Jim Healy, MS, is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of DxTerity Diagnostics. Jim has 30 years of high-technology company leadership in operating and financial roles at Hughes Communications, JTA Research, Cadence Design Systems, and Magnify360, ranging from semiconductor design and manufacturing, computer-aided automation, network communications, and online marketing. |
Jim has been specializing in investment and strategic direction consulting for high-technology start-up organizations and has expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital structuring.

Bill Coty, PhD
Bill Coty, PhD, is the Vice President of Product Development at DxTerity Diagnostics. Bill has over 25 years of experience in leading research and development efforts at several diagnostic and biotechnology companies, including Roche Diagnostics, Boehringer Mannheim, Microgenics, DiscoverRx, and Motorola Life Sciences. |
He has overseen the development, FDA-clearance, and product-launch processes for a wide variety of immuno and molecular diagnostic tests. Most recently, Bill was Vice President of Research and Product Development at Osmetech Molecular Diagnostics, where he led efforts to develop and achieve FDA clearance of the eSensor® 4800 and XT-8 instrument platforms with associated multiplex genotyping tests for cystic fibrosis and warfarin sensitivity.

Dr. Frederic Zenhausern is the Head of the Scientific Advisory Board at DxTerity Diagnostics. Dr. Zenhausern is Endowed Chair Professor, Basic Medical Sciences, and Director of the Center for Applied NanoBioscience and Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He is an Associate Director at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), and the Director of the Personalized Medicine Research Laboratory at Scottsdale Healthcare in Scottsdale, Arizona. |
