DxTerity Partners wih Lupus Research Alliance for 5 Year Landmark Study
Launch of Groundbreaking Lupus Landmark Study by Lupus Research Alliance and Lupus Therapeutics
Los Angeles, CA., May 23, 2023 – DxTerity Diagnostics today announced its collaborators The Lupus Research Alliance and Lupus Therapeutics have launched the Lupus Landmark Study, a 5-year prospective, longitudinal study. The Landmark study is targeting the prospective enrollment of up to 3500 adults diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
The study looks to provide real world data and clinical samples from patients living with lupus. The samples and data will enable evaluation of the effectiveness of therapies and power the development of precision medicine for SLE.
DxTerity Diagnostics will be providing testing of patients with its Modular Immune Profile (MIP) assay includes gene signatures for Type 1 Interferon (IFN-1), B-cells, T-cells, Plasmablasts/Plasma Cells, Low Density Granulocytes/Neutrophils, Plasmacytoid Dendritic cells, Monocytes, T-cell Exhaustion, Interferon Beta, Interferon Gamma, and Cellular Energy. The study will use DxTerity’s DxCollect MicroCollection Device (MCD) for stabilization and ambient transport of fingerstick blood samples.
According to Bob Terbrueggen, PhD, Founder and CEO of DxTerity Diagnostics, “We are very excited to kick off the Landmark study. This study provides DxTerity with an unique opportunity to demonstrate the value of modular genomics for improving the management of SLE patients.”
